In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Identify cost savings opportunities and participate in business continuity risk reductionLead VAVE projects, including developing test plans, overseeing testing, prioritizing, engineering document changes, and coordinating sample buildsEvaluate components, materials, and processes for value improvement opportunitiesParticipate in and lead idea workshops and brainstorm sessions with cross-functional teams to generate cost reduction ideasContinually evaluate and promote designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturing improvements and value

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering fieldRequired 3+ years related experience in the manufacturing industryKnowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology and value analysis tools and methodsExperience with analytical and CAD software; Solid Edge and TeamcenterHands-on involvement in development engineering, concept, prototyping, and testing

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Must have mode of transportation to attend meetings between buildingsAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lbs. occasionally

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience with industrial and laboratory safety standards (UL and CE marking)Experience with industrial automation platformsSourcing, Supply chain, logistics, and project management background
