Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Manager to manage the procurement and tendering process while preparing contractual documentation. The role involves controlling costs during the construction process, ensuring the commercial success of projects for contractors, and valuing construction work for interim payments. The successful candidate will develop capital budgets and forecasts for the New Business project portfolio utilizing financial and operational models. Additionally, the role requires compiling and interpreting financial and non-financial information to drive business decisions.
ResponsibilitiesManage the procurement and tendering process.Prepare and manage contractual documentation.Control costs during the construction process.Ensure commercial success of projects for contractors.Value construction work for interim payments and assess or compile claims for loss and expense.Agree final accounts.Develop capital budgets and forecasts for new business projects.Compile and interpret financial and non-financial information.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management).5 years of experience in cost control for EPC projects.Proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Xlookup, match, pivot tables).Experience working with Oracle ERP/SAP.Experience on projects ranging from $200,000 to $1M+ in budget.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in the energy sector.Experience with estimation, forecasting, and cost management.Proficiency in Bluebeam and Procore.Experience as a Project Controls Specialist or in cost control analysis.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16/hr.
