The Cost Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting accurate and realistic cost estimates for new projects and engineering changes, as well as financial information to support key decision-making by management and the sales department. The role covers tasks for a few plants within the Thermal Comfort Systems Group and reports directly to the Regional Costing Department Manager.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

 

Preparing cost calculations/quotations for new and ongoing programs based on customer documentation and available information Close cooperation with other departments to provide preliminary technical and cost information for products/proposed solutions Analyzing/updating costs in the context of changes in the production process/product Preparing profitability analyses for planned initiatives (Business Case) Verifying documentation and offers for internal and external customers Monitoring costs and ensuring the highest standards in cost estimations

 

We Expect From You:

 

Higher education – preferably in finance or engineering Experience in a manufacturing company in finance/engineering/sales is a plus Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, functions) Very good command of English, enabling work in an international environment Logical and analytical thinking skills, as well as data synthesis abilities Above-average communication and interpersonal skills Excellent self-organization, punctuality, and energy in action Category B driving license
