Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity to join the Mission Systems Pricing and Cost Estimating organization supporting our Largo, FL facility. The Cost Estimating Analyst is responsible for bidding the labor costs for all of Mission Systems. Developing relationships is key as this position works closely with various functional teams; pricing, engineering, procurement, program management and operations to prepare audit supportable estimates in support of US Government Proposals. This role will be Hybrid at our Collins Aerospace location in Largo, FL or Cedar Rapids, IA.
**What You Will Do**
+ Handling multiple projects simultaneously
+ Utilizing SAP Project Systems to pull and analyze labor actuals
+ Performing variance analysis to previous bids
+ Collaborates with leadership and various functional teams to gather information, share insights, and facilitate informed decision-making.
+ Understanding manufacturing cost flows and application of labor rates and factors
+ Peer reviewing labor, material, and bid files with excellent attention to detail
+ Identifying and quantifying proposal risks and opportunities
+ Reviewing estimates with proposal teams to provide business insight in support of gate reviews
+ Supporting customer fact finding and government assist audits
+ Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements
+ Managing and prioritizing your tasks to ensure bids are completed on schedule
+ Travel onsite for customer negotiations or other special events (5%)
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Bid/Cost Proposal Management experience
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and SAP to include APEX, PRISM, Project Systems, Cost Estimating Program, Material Master Data, and Procurement modules
+ Familiarity with BidMaster.Web (BMW) or Labor Support Workbooks and ProPricer

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
