Cost Estimating Analyst - Program Management and Commodity Benchmarking. Role acts as the primary liaison representing and managing Cost Estimating resources when interfacing with new model programs, new unit programs and Product Development benchmarking requests. This role requires a strategic influencer who can navigate / manage an ambiguous environment.

**What You'll Do…**
+ Contribute your extensive expertise to the Cost Estimating team as we continuously refine our chosen agile framework and modern ways of working
+ Trusted advisor to senior leaders as they continuously refine their organizations for the present and future
+ Coordination of Cost Estimating resources (Cost Estimators) to provide detail cost estimates for all parts / systems that require support from either Forward Model / Unit program teams.
+ Work with requestors and Cost Estimators to ensure that all required information (design detail, material specifications, etc.) are available to enable detailed cost estimates to be developed
+ Utilize Cost Estimating tracking tools (GANTT charts, estimate management tools / dashboards, etc.) and provide regular status updates to Cost Estimating leadership
+ Leverage strong understanding of Activity Based Costing and “Should Cost” to assist CE customers in understanding our work and how to apply it properly
+ Support all teams of four for anything related to Cost Estimating processes and deliverables
+ Work closely with Global Total Cost (GTC) organization in the coordination, tracking and delivery of all competitive benchmarking costing requests
**You'll have…**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or other equivalent fields, or an undergraduate degree in Finance/Business.
+ 5+ years of business and/or finance experience,
+ Experience in manufacturing with automotive component manufacturing a plus
+ Exceptional communication (oral & written), facilitation, team building, conflict resolution and collaboration skills in cross-functional, diverse environments
+ A hyper collaborative mindset and ability to partner with teams and leaders regardless of level
+ Proactive with ability to balance multiple tasks
**Even better, you may have...**
+ Working knowledge of Ford Global Product Development System (GPDS)
+ Experience with Costing Software would be a plus.
