Cost Acountant

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Develop planning systems and procedures, captures, complies, coordinates and documents relevant financial information.                                                 Prepare detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management. Supervise actual results of financial data against plans, forecast and budget.            Consolidate a wide range of operational and financial projections.  Follow up on compliance with the Cyclic Count program established by the corporate in CP&P143.  Schedule and organize the annual physical inventory audit plan. Control and management of the form for safekeeping and exit tickets for company-owned equipment assigned to employees. Keep, determine and control the operational cost of the machining, welding and painting areas. Supervise the activities of the personnel under their charge and ensure that the work plan is met on time.           Actively participate in preparation of documentation for statutory and internal audit. Actively participate in the application of their area's document retention policy and legal file control. Control, identify and audit the company's fixed assets  and fixed assets owned by related parties. Control retirements and disposals of fixed assets of the company and property, plant and equipment owned by related parties. Supervise FA records and movements processed by the GFS-FA area.

                                                            

Review and control fixed asset (FA) accounting depreciations based on policies processed by GFS-FA.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.  Bilingual 90% proven experience in cost accounting in manufacturing environment. Experience in accounting, practices, regulations, financial concepts, profitability and financial ratios.                 Availability and documentation to travel to USA
 


 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Knowledge in computer packages: Excel, Word, Windows and accounting systems: Aspel, etc. Organized person, highly analytical, proactive, responsible and focused on results. Leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
