This role is highly visible, working closely with the Controller, and offers the chance to shape processes, lead new product cost initiatives, and eventually build a team. Key Responsibilities + Lead cost accounting functions, including product costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. + Drive month-end close activities and provide cost of goods sold and inventory reporting. + Enhance ERP cost accounting processes, focusing on automation and scalability. + Support the transition to a standard cost system and new product line setup. + Partner with operations and supply chain to monitor costs, track savings initiatives, and improve efficiencies. + Provide cost insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CMA/CPA/MBA a plus. + 8+ years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting. + Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory control. + ERP system expertise (Oracle JD Edwards preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
