As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role at the intersection of finance and operations, guiding the company’s profitability and cost management. You will be a strategic partner to leadership—leveraging your expertise in analytical problem solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to provide actionable insights that shape important business decisions. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** + Responsible for managing month-end closing of raw materials, including: + FIFO calculation and booking + Material variance analysis + Coordination with procurement team + Prepare raw material forecasts and key reports + Own monthly and quarterly entries and account reconciliations + Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business units and teams other corporate functions on various projects + Present summaries and executive-style reporting to senior leadership + Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary + Supervisie and support one direct report **Qualifications** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + BA/BS degree in Accounting, CPA a plus + 5 + years of experience in accounting or finance + Background in materials costing experience preferred + Must have strong analytical skills + Strong written and oral communication skills + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required + SAP experience preferred + Ability to effectively interact cross functionally and senior leadership, as necessary Novolex is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
