Cost Accountant

Ter versterking van ons Finance team in Venlo zijn we op zoek naar een Cost Accountant die in staat is om in SAP de material standard costing te beheren en te overzien. Dit vraagt om iemand die zeer nauwkeurig is maar ook goed kan samenwerken. De Cost Accountant zal samenwerken met productie-, inkoop- en financiële teams om de kostenefficiëntie te optimaliseren en prijsstrategieën te ondersteunen. Deze functie speelt een cruciale rol bij het optimaliseren van de kostenefficiëntie van projecten met behoud van hoge kwaliteitsnormen. 

Verantwoordelijkheden

Onder andere maar niet beperkt tot:

Zorgen voor een nauwkeurige productieboekhouding.Uitvoeren van variantieanalyses (werkelijke vs. standaardkosten).Bewaken en analyseren van uren, materialen en overheadkosten.Ondersteunen en assisteren van Operations Control Manager.

Opleiding & kwalificaties

Afgeronde opleiding op ten minste MBO+ niveau, bij voorkeur in Finance of Bedrijfskunde;Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring met costing accountancy of productie accountancy;Ervaring in het werken met SAP;Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Spreek je ook Nederlands? Dat is een bonus!

Cost Accountant

Are you an internationally minded Finance Professional? Do you have a “yes-we-can” mentality? Can you push yourself and others forward and are you eager to contribute to Weir Minerals growth plans? Then this might be your new challenge!

To strengthen our Finance team based in Venlo, we are looking for a Cost Accountant who is able to manage and oversee material standard costing in SAP. This asks for someone who is very accurate but also collaborative. The cost accountant will collaborate with production, procurement and finance teams to optimize cost efficiency and support pricing strategies. This position plays a crucial role for the optimization of project cost efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.  

Responsibilities

Amongst others but not limited to:

Ensure accurate manufacturing accounting.Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs).Monitor and analyze hours, materials, and overhead costs.Supporting and assisting Operations Control Manager.

Education & qualifications

Completed education on MBO+ level, preferably in Finance or Business Administration;At least 5 years of relevant experience with either costing accountancy or with manufacturing accountancy;Experience in working with SAP;Fluency in the English language, verbally as well as in writing. Do you also speak Dutch? That’s a bonus!
