Standard cost development, monthly variance application calculation, LIFO reporting. Responsible for inventory control for plant(s) using work orders and repetitive shop floor controls. Take lead in coordinating annual physical inventory. Reconciles book to physical differences Develop and maintain written procedures/work-instructions for division cost accounting duties. Maintains standard costs for all part numbers. Develops and enters standard costs for new or redesigned parts or Engineering Changes Notices (ECNs). Develops and maintains ongoing audits of standard costs, work centers, and routing codes. Reviews new routings to ensure correct structure to be costed. Reviews “frozen” standard cost files for updates to support LIFO. Manages and communicates updates as dictated by cost changes. Performs monthly closing activities. Analyzes manufacturing variances. Produces financial schedules. Participates in quote review process. Assists in preparation of departmental budgets and forecasting.
