Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, you will oversee critical financial processes, including general ledger management, cost accounting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cost accounting, variance analysis, and compliance standards, while demonstrating adaptability and a strong drive for continuous improvement. Responsibilities: • Manage the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger, ensuring entries comply with internal accounting policies. • Perform variance analysis, identify key drivers, and effectively communicate findings to management. • Act as a system expert to maintain transactional integrity within financial software and tools. • Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. • Collaborate with site personnel to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis and reporting. • Support annual audit processes and ensure compliance with applicable standards. • Drive process improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency. • Apply knowledge of cost accounting and standard costing to enhance financial operations. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements, including exposure to SOX standards. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. • Proficiency in Epicor ERP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning systems. • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and variance analysis. • Experience with month-end close processes and preparing financial statements. • Ability to create and review journal entries for accuracy. • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls. • Critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic priorities. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to transactional accuracy.
