Our aerospace client is is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corrosion Specialist to join their production team in Mobile, Alabama
Job DescriptionApply corrosion protection treatments and products to aircraft structures during assembly.Perform general and detailed cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors, including confined spaces.Use approved chemicals and manual or powered tools (e.g., scrapers, wipes) to clean surfaces.Monitor confined space operations as an authorized safety attendant.Install protective coverings using approved methods and materials.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in LEAN manufacturing activities.Perform additional duties as assigned to support production flow and aircraft readiness.QualificationsEducation
High School Diploma or GEDAbility to successfully complete required Airbus training programsVocational training in corrosion prevention or surface preparationHands-on training from prior employers on application tools and methodMinimum 2 years of experience with corrosion prevention, surface preparation, or industrial cleaning, ideally in aviation manufacturing or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul)
