Role Overview:

As Corporate Vice President, Financial Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in developing, analyzing, and delivering customized financial plans to support Advisors and their clients. You’ll be a strategic partner to Advisors, offering planning expertise and proactive guidance to help drive results and enhance client outcomes. This role blends technical knowledge with high-touch service, contributing to a best-in-class client experience. 

What You'll Do:

Prepare and review comprehensive, fee-based financial plans in collaboration with Advisors under Eagle Strategies LLC.  Provide expert financial planning advice across a broad spectrum of needs, including individuals, families, executives, and business owners.  Consult with Advisors to identify efficiencies, implement best practices, and enhance practice profitability through robust planning solutions.  Serve as a strategic leader on initiatives that promote an advice-centered client experience.  Maintain foundational knowledge of New York Life’s core products and integrate this into financial planning strategies.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to leverage and share financial planning expertise.  Contribute to the development and facilitation of training programs for Advisors and staff focused on financial planning tools and concepts. 

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.  5–10 years of experience in financial planning or a related advisory role.  Series 7 and 65/66 licenses (must be obtained within 24 months of hire).  CFP® or ChFC designation (required within 36 months of hire).  Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney) and ability to create user guidance tailored to Advisor needs.  Solid understanding of financial planning concepts and tools.  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to simplify and explain complex strategies clearly and confidently.  Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to team projects.  Ability to identify gaps and develop tailored strategies to meet client goals and financial objectives.
