Team Profile:
Corporate Treasury team provides corporate finance, risk and advisory services to senior management and internal business units. The team optimizes the Firm's funding, liquidity and capital base, manages the Firm's foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and coordinates relationships with regulators, rating agencies, and unsecured creditors. The Recovery and Resolution Planning team oversees the Recovery and Resolution Planning processes on a day-to-day basis, including production and submission of the Firm’s and U.S. Banks’ Recovery and Resolution Plans.We offer:

You will:
Lead the development, implementation, and process improvements of the Global Recovery and Resolution Financial Models and identify and drive additional use cases of the models in BAUAct as a subject matter expert to evaluate any impacts that changes to the Firm’s activities (e.g., new products) may have on its resiliency & resolvability and recommend mitigating actionsServe as the interface between topical subject matter experts and internal governance bodies and external regulatorsPresent to various Firm governance committees and drive discussions with second and third lines of defenseManage and execute ad hoc requests/inquiries from senior management and aid in decision making processResearch, analyze and recommend solutions around data issues and perform necessary steps to resolveSupport global regulatory submissions and ad hoc governance or regulatory requestsCollaborate across multiple teams to implement strategic change initiatives and remediation efforts in response to regulatory feedbackYou have:
Good working knowledge of Corporate Treasury, in particular capital, liquidity and funding riskExcellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevityAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, with particular focus on Excel and PowerPointExperience with complex financial products including derivatives, secured funding, deposits and lendingExperience with implementation of complex financial models and data management in a strategic IT environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy level environmentAptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracyA proactive nature with the determination to see tasks through from beginning to endBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field of study beneficialPrior experience in recovery and resolution planning a plus (directly or via consulting/regulatory roles)Prior experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau a plusWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
