As a Corporate Travel Associate III, you will coordinate, reserve, plan and execute all aspects of both domestic and international travel. Responsible for all facets of business travel and assist with meeting planning needs.
**This is a fully remote position for candidates located in the United States (any time zone). Required working shift is Monday-Friday 10am-7pm EST**
Essential Functions:
Makes airfare, car rental, hotel, Amtrak and car service reservations to meet the travel needs of employees.Research lowest possible airfares, checks hotel availability and car rental availability to reduce the overall cost of employee travel while remaining organized. Ticketing, exchanging, refunding and invoicing reservations.Accurately communicates travel requirements, flight schedules, fares and any other needs pertaining to employee travel. Handles difficult itineraries (international) or group travel requirements Ensures travel policy compliance.Answers calls on call center.Assists in negotiating contract rates for meeting space, sleeping rooms, catering, A/V, working with group housing bureaus, and payment information. Acquires missing invoices.Education and Experience:
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2+ years). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Skills and Abilities:
Proficient with SABRE GDS Reservation SystemGroupize experience is a plusStrong corporate travel knowledge baseExtensive knowledge of world geographyCapable of managing business travel for high level, multi-faceted, international meetings in any part of the worldDemonstrated ability to book travel and accommodations in all currenciesGood global knowledge of travel documentation as required by lawGood communication skillsStrong customer service skillsExcellent attention to detailExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently as on a teamAble to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner. Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities. Flexible schedule to fill in while other agents are out of the office.Salary Transparency
The salary range estimated for this position is $28-30/hr.
Compensation will be initially discussed during the screening period, with actual compensation confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
