Description We are looking for a skilled Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This fully remote opportunity will be heavily focused on tax compliance and cleanup efforts critical to the organization’s operations. Responsibilities: • Manage sales tax filings and indirect tax compliance processes accurately and efficiently. • Utilize NetSuite and Sitetracker software to organize and maintain tax-related documentation. • Assist with tax cleanup projects to support organizational transitions and safeguard loan accessibility. • Collaborate with the tax team to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. • Conduct thorough reviews of tax data and provide insights for process optimization. • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and adherence to deadlines. • Analyze tax issues and propose solutions to minimize risks or penalties. • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and implement necessary adjustments. • Support cross-functional teams by providing tax expertise during audits or reviews. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance. • Strong knowledge of sales tax and indirect tax processes. • Proficiency in using NetSuite and Sitetracker software. • Ability to manage and execute tax cleanup projects effectively. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax laws. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
