This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional to join a dynamic corporate tax department and support multi-state compliance for a complex business structure. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and file state and local income, franchise, gross receipts, and business license tax returns. + Monitor filing requirements and ensure compliance with state and local regulations. + Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning initiatives. + Assist with audits and respond to state/local tax notices. + Maintain tax calendars and support tax provision calculations. + Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2–5+ years of experience in corporate tax, with a strong focus on SALT. + CPA or CPA-eligible, preferred. + Familiarity with multi-state compliance and business license filing requirements. + Experience with tax software + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
