Job OverviewThe Corporate Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be responsible for executing the overall Talent Acquisition strategy for corporate functions. They will drive recruiting efforts, external relationship building, and relationship management with Business Leaders. The TABP is responsible for ensuring that the staffing needs are met.
Duties & Responsibilities Leads and executes all Talent Acquisition strategy to support their assigned areas of business including full lifecycle recruiting efforts Manages all client management activities within assigned areas of business Builds relationships and trust with business leaders to effectively gauge needs and influence hiring decisions Partners with Hiring Managers to clearly define the accountabilities of the position and candidate success factors Clearly understands performance needs of the positions and how it contributes to the organization Outlines expectations for the recruitment process to source and select the best-qualified candidate(s) for the position Presents qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner Reviews candidate advantages and development opportunities and influences hiring decisions Identifies issues early in the process and resolves problems proactively, uses data and results to make decisions, and provides status updates on a regular basis. Follows through on commitments and activities Finds active and passive candidates using proactive sourcing methods, high-touch direct sourcing, and networking to find top candidates for current and future openings Uses cold calling, database mining, internet/web searches, social media platforms, professional organizations, personal/functional networks, and name generation as well as employee referrals to generate candidate leads Develops and executes comprehensive sourcing plans for the assigned regions to create candidate pipelines, reduce time to fill, and improve candidate quality Maintains a pulse on the top talent within the external marketplace for the assigned Region Effectively leverages warm leads, contacts, and sourced candidates to build a sourcing database for existing or future needs Keeps contact information updated and establishes relationships with top candidates to develop a strong pipeline Fosters relationships with active and passive candidates Understands motivations, needs, and candidate interests; listens and influences candidate decisions Presents the Company and details of the position and sets clear expectations Follows through on commitments and activities Coaches and trains Hiring Managers and other stakeholders regarding the staffing process to drive consistent candidate selection methods. Sets expectations for all stakeholders in the hiring process; gain agreement on schedules and responsibilities Tracks and documents all activity within SuccessFactors applicant tracking system and completes related documentation to ensure compliance with government regulations and reduces related risks to the Company Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities The person in this role must be able to leverage business acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset in order to fully execute the talent attraction strategy for their assigned business areas. They will proactively manage the sourcing and recruiting process up to the offer stage The TABP should be able to manage all client activities within their assigned business areas to effectively gauge needs and influence hiring decisions They will present qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner while providing consultation on hiring decisions This person must also have a strong ability to develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans with a focus on managing time to fill and improve candidate quality while maintaining a pulse on the marketplace A successful TABP is also able to foster relationships with active and passive candidates to build strong talent pipelines and influence candidate career decisions They will leverage proactive sourcing and networking techniques to find active and passive candidates for current and future openings. In addition, the TABP provides coaching and training to hiring managers and other stakeholders regarding staffing processes and policies to drive consistent candidate selection methods They set expectations for all stakeholders in the hiring process, gain agreement on schedules and responsibilities, and partner with the TA Specialist to ensure successful onboarding of new hires. They will maintain activity in the applicant tracking system and complete documentation, up to the offer stage, to ensure alignment with government regulations and company policies Identifies opportunities to reduce risks to the company Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (4 years) Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of relevant work experience including full life cycle recruitment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Human Resources or related field Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience supporting exempt level positions within corporate functions Strong HR Acumen including knowledge of OFCCP, EEOC, Title 7, and local and state laws Strong proficiency in sourcing and screening candidates for both skill and motivational fit Track record in providing exceptional customer service, building relationships and being a trusted advisor to the business Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships across functions and levels and establish credibility Strong critical thinking and emotional intelligence with ability to develop actionable recommendations and influence decision-making Must be able to work in high-pressure situations with positivity, professionalism and adaptability. High sense of urgency and attention to detail Work Environment Office Environment This role requires in-person presence at our Corporate Office in Charlotte, NC Must be comfortable with an onsite work environment; currently 4 days a week in office with 1 day remote flexibility.
