Corporate Salesperson
Citibank, N.A. seeks a/an Corporate Salesperson for its New York, New York location. Duties: Review and analyze pricing and implement foreign exchange and rates solutions for derivatives and loans. Build quantitative models for valuation of financial instruments to account for amortization schedules, currency, payout terms, and any optionality embedded within the solution. Organize, manipulate, model, and visualize numerical and statistical data. Analyze performance of asset, sector, company and trading strategy to provide trading desk with marketing solution strategies and for client investment strategies. Calculate and monitor transaction metrics, such as credit risk exposure, credit valuation adjustment cost, and returns on capital, using probabilistic methods. Prepare marketing materials for financial products and solutions for internal use and presentation to external clients. Monitor and control profit and loss, market risk, and structuring of books. Provide sales coverage to Citi’s Markets clients by engaging regularly with clients, understanding business needs, and pitching solutions. Conduct research on different financial markets, including emerging markets. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Engineering Sciences, Economics, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Quantitative Analysis Program Analyst, Markets Analyst, or related position involving research, analysis and quantitative modeling of derivative financial products in support of sales and marketing at a global financial services institution. 2 years of experience must include: Building financial models for derivatives and other financial products using valuation, risk and funding concepts and leveraging stochastic methods including Monte Carlo simulations; Pricing derivative trades, notes, and loans using Excel and Bloomberg; Executing fixed income and currency transactions with internal and external counterparties; Booking and reviewing trades in post-trade processing systems; Drafting of term sheets and pricing supplements for fixed income securities using accounting conventions; Scientific modeling, including building computer tools to price securities and enacting controls to build regression models in Excel; Statistical data analysis and data visualization skills, including proficiency with regression models, linear algebra and analyzing/structuring Bloomberg data; Tailoring financial solutions for Emerging markets, including financial conventions, floating rates, and inflation indices; Packaging securities to offer comprehensive solutions to corporate clients; and Preparation and presentation of marketing pitches and term sheets.
