Corporate & Retail Events Specialist

As the Specialist for Corporate & Retail Events, you’ll be the go-to person for planning and executing internal meetings and events—whether in-person, hybrid, or virtual. You’ll manage logistics from start to finish, support larger-scale events, and collaborate with teams to create memorable experiences. If you love juggling details, working with people, and bringing events to life, this is your chance to shine.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you’ll doLead planning and execution for small to mid-sized internal eventsCoordinate logistics like registration, catering, transportation, and AV supportSupport large-scale events as part of a collaborative planning teamBuild strong relationships with vendors and internal partnersStay curious—explore new tech and best practices to keep events freshTravel for events and occasionally work evenings or weekends
Basic qualifications
1+ years of experience in meeting or event planningIntermediate skills in Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communicationComfortable working independently and with a teamAble to lift up to 20 lbs
Preferred qualifications
Experience with CventGraphic design skills
