Join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Corporate Real Estate Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA! This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to our global M&A activities, where you will provide outstanding functional support to the Corporate Development team. You will be instrumental in ensuring flawless due diligence, integration, and disposition of real estate assets. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment and can manage global projects with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on multiple confidential M&A projects with Corporate Development, legal teams, and external partners.Access data rooms to review and abstract all real estate documents.Conduct detailed contractual reviews of acquisition or disposition real estate-related contracts.Construct comprehensive due diligence reports and property portfolio summaries.Present and analyze data, develop conclusions, identify risks, and make recommendations.Build and maintain a complete site file for each property.Maintain and update project files in the CoStar property database.Propose real estate integration roadmaps and forecast commonality savings estimates.Prepare for Day One post-acquisition activities, including signage and other facility-related objectives.Review legal documents and coordinate closing requirements.Support post-acquisition projects, prioritizing commonality savings opportunities.Collaborate with a network of outsourced service providers.Partner with internal teams such as finance, HR, sourcing, marketing, and IT.Accurately report financial metrics for cost savings and cost avoidance.Participate in continuing education and stay updated on industry trends.Lead the development of policies and processes to improve portfolio management.Collaborate with Global Brand to maintain facility branding guidelines.Support real estate and facility initiatives with Procurement.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Architecture/Construction Management with equivalent experience.Strong financial competence and legal experience in real estate law.Excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with various levels of management.Proven record of leading corporate real estate and/or M&A projects.Experience with benchmarking and space planning.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and proficiency with CoStar.Uphold ethical principles and a professional business code of conduct.
