Corporate Litigation Paralegal
Description A highly respected international law firm is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Wilmington, Delaware. If you would like to be considered immediately please reach out to Kevin Ross at Robert Half Responsibilities: • Manage litigation cases from initiation through trial and post-trial phases, ensuring all procedural requirements are met. • Draft, file, and oversee the organization of pleadings, motions, and other court filings. • Conduct discovery processes, including document reviews and productions, with attention to detail. • Coordinate preparation for depositions and trials, including exhibits, witness arrangements, and logistical support. • Perform legal and factual research to support attorneys, summarizing findings and records effectively. • Maintain case files, calendars, and trial notebooks to ensure seamless case management. • Monitor and ensure adherence to court rules and filing deadlines. • Track billable hours on a daily basis and assist attorneys with managing case-related tasks. • Provide courtroom support and coordinate with vendors during trial proceedings. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred. • Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, ideally in a law firm setting. • Proven expertise in trial preparation and courtroom support. • Familiarity with the Court of Chancery and complex business litigation procedures. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Relativity, Adobe Acrobat, and e-filing platforms. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. • Organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
