HR Business Partner & Planning Governance Lead

As a dual-role HRBP and Planning Governance Lead, you are the linchpin connecting People & Organization (P&O) strategy with high-impact execution. In an environment of constant business transformation and shifting talent expectations, your leadership will ensure our HR practices not only keep pace, but proactively drive organizational agility, innovation, and client-centricity.

Your Mission

You will partner closely with the P&O GM and cross-functional leads to architect and operationalize strategies that shape our future workforce and culture. Utilizing market insights and external benchmarks, you’ll identify opportunities to embed best-in-class people practices across the organization. Your mandate includes leading strategic projects, optimizing people processes, and championing change management initiatives to ensure our organization is ready for tomorrow’s challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Architect & Advisor

·       Collaborate on the development and execution of mid- and long-term workforce strategies, translating vision into actionable roadmaps and KPIs.

·       Lead the annual people alignment and budgeting process, ensuring resources and structure align with business priorities.

·       Serve as trusted advisor to business leaders on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.

Project & Change Leader

·       Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact HR and organizational projects, from scoping and stakeholder engagement through implementation and post-launch review.

·       Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project interdependencies, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

·       Lead change management initiatives, building readiness, engagement, and buy-in for new ways of working and organizational transformation.

Culture & Engagement Champion

·       Partner with leaders and HR teams to foster an inclusive, high-performing, and psychologically safe workplace.

·       Support the evolution of company culture by diagnosing organizational climate and development needs, and collaborating to design effective interventions.

·       Act as an internal consultant, providing expertise in employee relations, performance management, and engagement strategies.

Analytics & Insights Driver

·       Consolidate and interpret people analytics to generate actionable insights, supporting strategic workforce planning and continuous improvement.

·       Maintain and enhance HR dashboards, tracking effectiveness of programs and enabling data-driven decision making.

·       Bring external market trends and best practices into the organization, participating actively in HR and industry forums.

What You’ll Bring

·       Strategic mindset and proven experience in HRBP or consulting roles within fast-paced, multinational settings.

·       Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.

·       Expertise in change management, able to guide teams through transformation with empathy, clarity, and resilience.

·       Advanced analytical capability and proficiency with data-driven workforce planning.

·       Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

·       Proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for building inclusive, future-ready organizations.

·       Fluency in English and Mandarin.

·       Accuracy of workforce, FTE, and people cost planning and forecasting

·       Quality of stakeholder feedback on strategic project delivery and partnership effectiveness
