Job Description Position Summary: Reporting and working under the direction of the Electrical Engineering Manager and alongside Electrical Team members this co-op position will support the Electrical Engineering Department in project work as well as providing support to our manufacturing operations in North America. Key Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities: + Create, edit, and update electrical schematics and layout drawings in AutoCAD based on input from supervisor or team members + Create and update spreadsheets used for bill of material lists, cable schedules, job tracking, estimating, etc. + Develop and update documentation + Assist senior engineers with their responsibilities + Assist in PLC programming as per project requirements. + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: + 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in University + Excellent organization and analytical skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Strong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills + Ability to establish priorities and work effectively in a team + Works well independently + Understanding of basic electrical theory and control circuits + Understanding of Basic PLC programming in ladder logic + Ability to create and edit AutoCAD drawings Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
