About the team

Stripe’s Corporate Development team focuses on evaluating, executing and integrating acquisitions while also making strategic investments that support Stripe’s broader mission of expanding the GDP of the internet.

What you’ll do

Integrating an acquired company is hard, important work and is often the biggest determinant of whether an acquisition is ultimately successful. We take this responsibility seriously, and are looking for someone to join us in our work to help ensure that our acquired companies and their people get off to the best possible start. The team is small today, and works very closely with senior leaders across the organization. 

Responsibilities Own integration operations, supporting the integration lead, on a deal-by-deal basis. Includes planning and execution of the integration process, supporting highly cross-functional work-streams, managing regular integration meetings, taking concise notes and actions Own problem solving. Distill and structure information in a way that enables the team to evaluate pros & cons of different options to achieve ideal outcomes Synthesize inputs from partner teams to deliver concise reporting to our stakeholders Identify and implement improvements to our acquisition integration practices Conduct mini-change impact analysis to guide the acquired employee experience Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for integration efforts Help further develop and execute integration operations. Who listens for intent and helps others avoid unconscious bias Preferred qualifications Work experience in one or more of: M&A integration, consulting, go to market or product strategy and operations Strong, team-oriented leadership skills including the ability to identify, frame, and confront issues and make recommendations for resolution Curious and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth and often ambiguous environments Excellent written and communication skills, experience incorporating AI into daily work flows  Experience living / working in non-US regions (professional or personal) Experience with budgets and financial metrics
