Corporate Customer Service Representative

Our client, a large fleet management and logistics company, is currently looking to hire for an entry level corporate customer service representative to join their team in Mississauga, ON!
This is not a call centre role - it is a corporate customer support role where the selected candidate will be handling requests via email requiring problem solving/investigation and navigation of several internal systems, and potentially on occasion fielding/making calls to internal parties.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provides administrative and operational support to Account Managers. The role focuses on the delivery of customer satisfaction through accurate and timely completion of customer service requests. These requests are addressed via interaction with other operating departments and through the utilization of CRM tool and Fleet-view portal.
The position of Customer Support Specialist is a developmental role that provides a foundation for building the skills necessary to become an Associate Account Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enter customer requests in CRM tool and follow them through to completion.
• Assist in managing open CRM requests to ensure cases and associated tasks remain current and do not go overdue.
• Respond back to customers on follow up communications related to non-strategic matters as instructed by team.
• Follow up with customers on requirements to fulfill requests initiated by internal departments.
• Process and complete all tasks as assigned by the Customer and Account Manager including but not limited to:
o Associated license and title state changes
o License and title requests
o Associated transportation requests with moving active vehicles to a new location or in and out of storage locations
o Associated divert requests with redirecting on order vehicles to a new location.
o Mass driver/vehicle uploads
o Enrolment of maintenance only vehicles
o Vehicle termination requests
• Assist with the follow up with internal operational groups and drivers as instructed. on:
• Assist with answering overflow customer telephone calls during peak call times.
• Create new reports and generate recurring reporting in support of customer requests.
• Create/Update/Maintain Customer Profiles as instructed.
• Assist with customer hierarchy structure changes that impact customer reporting, billing, permissions, pool naming conventions, etc.
• Process Used Vehicle Fair Market Value (FMV) Quote requests via automated system.
• Scan and index documents as required.
• Escalate issues that impact service delivery.
Qualifications
+ Corporate Customer Service Experience (Any years of experience would be great)
+ Computer literacy – need work/educational experience on a computer, be familiar with outlook, excel, typing emails professionally, and ability to learn navigating new systems
+ Multitasking/prioritizing - will be managing several incoming requests and having to follow up with different parties at any given time
Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
+ Contract to hire role (6 month contract to start) will convert to permanent after 6 months.
+ This role/group is an entry-level, development role designed to move into an Associate Account Manager role or other sales/customer service roles
+ Our client recently merged with 2 other companies, are now the 3rd largest in the industry and have aggressive growth goals moving forwards. Average employee tenure currently is 10 years.
Work Environment:
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm
HYBRID MODEL: for training (approx. 2-3 months depending how quick they learn) will be expected to be in 4-5 times/week. After that they'll be able to move to 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Office in Mississauga.
Pay: $21 - $23/hr
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
