Description
Our client a large industrial corporation is currently seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to provide expert legal guidance and support within our organization. In this role, you will focus on legal matters related to the construction industry, including contract management, compliance, and dispute resolution. This position is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on federal, state, and local regulations impacting the construction industry and company operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including construction agreements and subcontracts.
• Oversee commercial disputes and litigation, working closely with external legal counsel as needed.
• Address legal matters related to construction, licensing, employment law, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, analyzing their implications for the business.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence and preparation of legal documentation.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on topics such as construction law and employment regulations.
Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
• A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a preference for expertise in construction, labor, or employment law.
• Proficiency in legal research, contract drafting, negotiation, and providing strategic legal advice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in handling commercial contracts, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions (M& A).
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities to work in a fast-paced environment.
