Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. AWS is at the forefront of the cloud technology industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database, AI services, and more.

This role will drive coordination between various Amazon legal teams and stakeholder groups to deliver on key business strategies. In addition, this role will support AWS's data center operations teams in deploying and operating strategic infrastructure solutions in our AWS data centers, including those supporting government customers. The role requires strong negotiating and drafting skills and an ability to distill complex issues into concise and actionable guidance. The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

Key job responsibilities
- Support the AWS infrastructure organization to develop, negotiate, and implement strategic projects and partnerships; and
- Work directly with business and other stakeholder teams to collaborate on novel initiatives, negotiate relevant contracts, advise on compliance and regulatory issues, assist with marketing and expansion, provide day-to-day counseling, and address operational issues.
