Job Description
We are seeking a Corporate Communications Consultant with a strong background in corporate access and the financial services industry. This role involves partnering with internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage and execute company meetings, investor research trips, and other corporate relations efforts.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with internal Corporate Relations Originators, investment staff, and external investment research providers to arrange company meetings hosted at various locations.Effectively market meetings to appropriate internal stakeholders including Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts.Drive internal and external communications to manage the RSVP process.Collaborate with Corporate Relations Originators to oversee strategic planning and management of high-value investor research trips.Handle daily Corporate Relations efforts, including planning, preparing, and executing meetings with company management teams.Contribute ideas to improve the existing process for facilitating company meeting requests from investment staff.Ensure company meetings are recorded in the Global Event Management System (GEMS) and coordinate logistics with the Investment Administration team.Oversee on-site management of events, especially large-scale meetings requiring end-to-end execution.Greet and interact with high-profile corporate management teams while providing insights into corporate relations and investment processes.Produce periodic and ad hoc reports summarizing company meeting activities and engagement trends.Maintain and update the Corporate Relations CRM database as needed.Serve as a quality control check for all meeting logistics and deliverables.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.5-7+ years of work experience in corporate access or the financial services industry.Proficiency in marketing communications, communications administration, corporate communications, and corporate action.Experience with Adobe software.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.Strong customer service, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.Self-directed and capable of performing assignments independently.Thrives in a fluid work environment.Project management experience in a business environment.Ability to analyze and identify critical issues.Flexibility to adapt to multiple work styles.Ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion.Work Environment
This position requires four days on-site in Baltimore (Harbor Point).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
