Objective The Corporate College Grant Administrator plays a critical role in supporting and managing federal, state, and local workforce education grants, closed contracts, and apprenticeships for Blinn College’s Corporate College. As a key team member, the Grant Administrator serves as the primary administrative liaison for the program—particularly grants funded by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and other external agencies. This position coordinates directly with internal staff and external business partners to ensure compliance, timely reporting, and the alignment of training services with workforce needs across the Blinn College service area Required Quals Summary Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field.

Principal Accountabilities Grant Oversight & Administration Lead the full lifecycle of grant development, submission, implementation, and closeout. Draft, complete, and submit grant applications in coordination with Corporate College leadership. Monitor compliance with all fiscal and administrative guidelines set by Blinn College and granting agencies. Maintain accurate and timely program documentation, including registration forms, sign-in rosters, end-of-course surveys, budgets, and financial reports. Prepare vendor agreements by collecting quotes, securing completed W-9 forms, and obtaining all required signatures to ensure timely contract processing.


Business & Partner Engagement Develop and maintain partnerships with regional employers and community stakeholders. Assess training needs of business partners and align them with Corporate College offerings. Participate in site visits and meetings to strengthen partner relationships and promote program services.
Data Management & Reporting Manage trainee records and training data in compliance with TWC requirements. Input and maintain data in the Texas Workforce Commission Learning Outcomes Tracking System (LOTS). Prepare monthly and quarterly grant reports, reimbursement requests, and end-of-project documentation. Perform data entry in the Banner system, including creating courses and enrolling students accurately and in a timely manner.
Operational & Program Support Coordinate scheduling of training programs based on business and instructor availability. Assist in developing marketing materials to promote Corporate College programs. Maintain accurate digital records in Microsoft Teams and follow internal approval protocols. Provide administrative support for apprenticeship programs, including coordinating documentation, tracking participant progress, and assisting with compliance and reporting requirements. Participate and coordinate training for new Corporate College trainers and staff. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Ability to interpret and create budgets, track financial data, and generate reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel within the Blinn College District and work occasional evenings or weekends. Minimum Competencies

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications Experience in grant writing, management, and compliance. Familiarity with workforce training, grant funded programs, or similar. Familiarity with the structure, operations, and practices of higher education or continuing education programs. Preferred Competencies
