As a management consulting generalist at PwC, you will play a vital role in helping clients optimise their operations, improve performance, and achieve strategic objectives. Your work may include analysing business data, developing strategies, supporting management teams, collaborating across teams, optimising tools and technology, improving organisational performance, monitoring compliance, and/or managing change.

Your mission: We are looking for a Corporate Banking Expert with a strong focus on Lending to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses deep operational expertise in the full corporate banking value chain, incl. lending products, credit processes, financing structures, etc., gained in a consulting or banking environment. You are highly motivated to help shape our tailored service offering and support clients in optimising their lending strategies and operations in the context of advisory projects. You will work alongside a dynamic and ambitious team, driving initiatives and delivering high-impact solutions.

Be a part of our team where you will:

●Advise clients in the corporate banking sector with a focus on lending, including credit product development, loan origination, credit risk management, process optimisation, and regulatory alignment.●Analyse and optimise end-to-end lending processes in corporate banking – from client onboarding and credit assessment to loan servicing and reporting.●Support strategic initiatives, prepare and lead client meetings, contribute to proposals and lead/participate in project delivery – including project management responsibilities.●Help identify trends in the corporate banking market, define opportunities for innovation, and develop strategies to enhance competitiveness and compliance.●Design and deliver targeted training sessions – internally and externally – on corporate banking processes, lending, and other relevant processes.●Coach and mentor junior team members on corporate lending practices and key challenges in the banking industry.●Monitor and assess the impact of upcoming regulatory changes on corporate lending operations and support clients in developing strategic responses.●Represent PwC Luxembourg in relevant industry working groups and forums focusing on credit and lending-related topics.●Become a recognised expert for corporate banking and lending operations – in this role you will demonstrate the ability to identify inefficiencies, compliance risks, and operational opportunities for digitalisation and process enhancement.

Graduated with a degree from University, an Engineering School or a Business School;You have minimum 7 years of professional experience in consulting or working within a corporate banking/lending function.You have a deep understanding of the corporate lending value chain, including structuring, underwriting, servicing, monitoring, and recovery processes.You are well-versed in the regulatory and operational landscape of the banking sector in Luxembourg and the broader European context.You bring experience working with core banking systems and credit management tools; familiarity with digital lending platforms.You understand risk management frameworks and how they apply across various lending products and client segments.You demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, a strategic mindset, and are confident making data and facts driven recommendations.You are excited to work in an international and fast-paced environment and eager to contribute to impactful projects.You have good people skills, you like to work as part of a team and you are eager to dive into a major project where your energy, analytical skills, discipline and intellectual curiosity will drive success.You are a team player, adaptable, and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership.You are highly proficient in English. Speaking French or German would be considered an asset.
