Corporate and Workplace Solutions includes the following pillars:
Workplace Experience: Encompasses end-to-end strategic real estate work from transactions to facilities. Departments include On-Site Solutions (inclusive of Facilities Management, Hospitality Operations, Document Management and Ground Transportation), Events, Client & Production Engineering, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development, and Capital Management.The Office of Global Security: Manages and implements arrangements for the protection of the firm’s personnel, physical security, fire safety and crisis management. Departments also include Risk and Health & Safety. Regional Office Leadership: Supports the firm in driving regional priorities and strategy in Dallas and Salt Lake City in partnership with local leadership.Chief Operating Officer (COO): Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include CWS Management and CWS Engineering - which provides enabling engineering solutions supporting real estate and facilities management, on-site solutions, safety and security and CWS data and analytics.OUR IMPACT
The Goldman Sachs Hospitality team delivers a best-in-class service reflecting the needs of the firm’s clients, people and community. The team is responsible for Food & Beverage, Guest Services and Ground Transportation across the firm’s global office portfolio and sits within On-site Solutions. The team also works closely with Real Estate Development and Real Estate Planning to support projects and deliver solutions that maximize the efficiency and productivity of our people.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
This position reports to the Global Head of Food & Beverage as well as Regional Onsite Solution Lead for the Americas. Key responsibilities include:
Lead the Americas Food Service program, ensuring it remains in line with the firm’s expectations, is benchmarked to industry trends, and is competitive to our peersEnsure seamless execution of the Food Service Program in the firm’s global headquarters at 200W, including retail operations, client catering and the pantry programManage the Food & Beverage provision across the firm’s regional offices (US, Canada and LATAM). Set SOPs to ensure consistency of service deliveryOversee the firm’s preferred Food Service vendors to deliver daily operations across the entirety of the Goldman Sachs footprint. This includes governance meetings, financial reviews (including review of the P&L: cost of food, labor, direct costs etc), staffing levels / org structure, and performance against KPI/SLAsWork with the firm’s vendors to drive continuous improvement across the operation, including culinary innovation, marketing campaigns, technology-led initiatives and incentivesEnsure operations are aligned to the firm’s financial goals by managing firm-funded costs, leading regional budgeting and cost control initiatives, and closely managing the vendor commercial model.Work with strategic partners in Wellness, ESG and the Executive Office to deliver key activations and experiences as neededPartner with Facilities Management (FM) to develop and execute a program of continuous improvements in the way culinary assets are managed, maintained and replaced within a detailed sustainment plan Foster a culture of excellence and customer service, by ensuring standard operating procedures are documented and adhered toEnsure customer feedback is reviewed and actioned promptly and appropriately, and implement any required service improvements or operational adjustments Ensure local code and compliance is adhered to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene and promote a culture of safety in the workplace Partner with ESG teams on reaching and maintaining sustainability targets, including sustainable food sourcing, minimizing single-use plastics, green cleaning chemicals and Carbon Net ZeroAct as the Hospitality team representative to provide Food Service requirements for all new construction and expansion activity as needed, act to consult the operational need for hospitality within the design schedules Participate in real estate planning, design, development, and execution of capital projects, including drawing reviews, cost affirmation, and selection of sustainable assets Support global hospitality workstreams including providing inputs into design standards for all F&B space to provide the basis of requirements for consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholdersDevelop strategic food service facility layouts that optimize workflow, efficiency and safety and customer experience Provide recommendations to the project team on kitchen equipment and technology to enhance performanceSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
10+ years' experience in large scale food service operations (e.g. corporate dining, hotels, restaurants), with at least 3 years in a leadership positionStrong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards in the US marketExperience in managing budgets, commercial contracts, forecasting and cost control in a food services operationStrong understanding of commercial kitchen operations, equipment, and regulationsExperience of procurement and sourcing processes, including RFIs / RFPsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, balance priorities and work across multiple teamsProven track record of implementing process improvements and increasing operation efficiencyExceptional communication and people skillsExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office software.Desirable qualifications

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
