Corporate Affairs Manager (f/m/x)

About the Role: 

The Corporate Affairs Manager will play a pivotal role at the intersection of strategic communication and public affairs, supporting the development and delivery of high-impact, integrated campaigns that advance Mondi’s priority advocacy objectives. This role calls for a strong grasp of policy, corporate positioning, and campaign execution to help shape external perceptions, strengthen Mondi’s reputation, and support its commercial and strategic ambitions.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communication, the successful candidate will work closely with the Sustainability team and key stakeholders across Business Units to ensure alignment and impact. 

Your Mission:

Translating public affairs priorities into well-defined communication campaigns supported by compelling messaging and success metricsCoordinating content creation, asset development, and stakeholder approvals across Business Unit and Group Functions ensuring timely and consistent delivery of campaign elements to agreed timelinesMonitoring, identifying and analysing legislative and regulatory developments impacting the Group and its Business UnitsWorking closely with Mondi’s Business Units providing direction and cohesion in drafting position papers and advocacy plans to address important dossiers effectivelyCoordinating the company’s interactions with Trade Associations and engaging with Trade Associations on Mondi’s behalf

Your Profile:

5 years public affairs experience within EU Institutions, Trade Associations, or companies, with an EU-affairs focusProven track record in developing communication materials and campaigns to support advocacy objectivesPackaging or manufacturing industry experience would be an advantageKnowledge and understanding of dossiers such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, the EU Deforestation-free Regulation, would be beneficialProactive, innovative approach with the ability to work independentlyFluent spoken and written English, with additional languages e.g., German, a big plus
