Job Summary:
This position will be an essential member of a team responsible for financial consolidations, monthly review/analysis of corporate office and consolidated financial statements, and forecasting corporate office operations as well as closely supporting the financial reporting function. This position addresses a multitude of accounting-related activities. In addition, the position participates in the management of process improvement projects and works closely with other corporate office departments and field finance teams regarding joint ventures, debt, leases, and other matters.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Consolidate financial information monthly for $17 billion+ SEC registrant & perform intercompany eliminationsProduce monthly internal financial statements for senior managementPrepare financial statements (B/S, I/S) + footnote support, and assist in the review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q & 10-K)Perform accounting and reporting for corporate office legal entitiesReview and analyze corporate office financial statementsManage centralized lease accounting and rent allocation processCoordinate accounting matters with other departments and field divisionsPrepare monthly account reconciliationsWork directly with assigned departments to complete the corporate office annual plan and forecastCrosstrain with other positionsComplete special projects as assignedManagement Responsibilities
