Trane in Belgium is hiring a **Service Technician** to join our team. **What you will do:** + Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction + Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units. + Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location. + Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers. + Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files + Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact + Provide re-training and follow-up training at customer site. + Determine parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need + Document work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files. + Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner. + Keep current on all Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair. + Read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs. **What you will bring:** + Refrigerant Certification + Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience as a service technician for refrigeration equipment. + Experience in repair and maintenance of: Centrifugal chillers, Scroll Chillers, Screw chillers, Condensing units, AHU & FCU + BA4/BA5 Certification + Knowledge of Microsoft Office software + Valid Driver’s License + Ability to communicate in Dutch (French / English would be an asset) + Good communication skills and ability to work with clients. + VCA Certification is plus **We offer:** + Full-time employment based on an employment contract, + Work directly with the manufacturer, + Opportunities for development and training, + Company car for private use, + Necessary work tools, + Medical care and access to employee support programs.
