Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Medicine or related field. Master’s degree preferred
Experience
8 years in Laboratory Medicine discipline with 5 years management experience in a relevant professional and clinical environment in a progressively responsible role

Certification in Medical Technology through an accrediting agency (such as ASCP) or a subspecialty certification in a discipline in which the employee is to work

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Operations Management:
With minimal supervision facilitates a multifunctional team to ensure Clinical Laboratory operations provide efficient, high quality, cost-effective laboratory services. Develops and implements work processes for all areas of responsibility. Establishes polices for all clinical and business operational tasks within assigned areasStrategic Operations Management:
Directs the evaluation of new technologies, procedures and supplies. Provides counsel on new test or service implementation. Plans, implements and monitors achievement of strategic business objectives. Communicates initiatives to appropriate personnel. Identifies, implements and monitors new practice opportunities for growth. Provides investigation and resolution for issues brought up by clinicians and customers related to Clinical Laboratory testingService Excellence:
Monitors, investigates and responds to customer, physician and pathologist feedback, modifying technical and office systems, processes as neededMaintain or improves Key Performance IndicatorsHuman Resources Functions:
Manages human resources within established productivity guidelines and the personnel budget. Facilitates training and development efforts. Maintains employee competencies. $86,851.13 - $156,332.04Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
