Copywriters are responsible for bringing our campaigns and brand voice to life with creative, compelling, and effective marketing copy across all marketing channels for our family of brands, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, and buybuyBABY. Balancing creative, attention-grabbing ideas with strategic thinking and a knowledge of industry best-practices, our copywriters will translate creative briefs into content that delivers on business goals.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000

Job Responsibilities:

Creates and delivers clever, effective copy for high-visibility channels and marketing programs, including promotions, email, website, app, loyalty, organic social, and paid marketing.Lead messaging development for creative campaigns, including promotionsWrite all email copy, including subject lines, pre headers, and body copy, with the goal of driving email opens and clicks to generate revenueEnsure all campaign content is on-brand, written in the appropriate voice and tone, and delivers on the objectives of the brief.Present work to marketing stakeholders for feedback and approvalConsistently look for opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality workCollaborate closely with visual designers, as well as with cross-functional partners such as email marketing managers and loyalty marketing managersStay up-to-date on industry best practices for ecommerce marketing copyDeliver all copy on-time and error-free

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.2-3 years of professional experience writing marketing copy, preferably for an ecommerce or retail brand.Ability to take direction and be flexible through changes in strategyAbility to take and respond to feedbackHighly motivated, deadline-driven professionalExcellent attention to detail, with thorough proofreading skills.Strong problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindsetResearch and analytic skillsKnowledge and experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.HTML knowledge and Photoshop experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
