The Copy Editor is responsible for overall quality assurance for creative produced for a client. He/she understands the brand guidelines of assigned clients and ensures that all creative materials produced are copy-accurate as well as content-accurate and adheres to brand standards.
You will:
Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of brand guidelines Ensure optimal quality of all communications developed for assigned clients, including grammar, spelling, consistency, and content accuracy Communicate with project managers to manage time Partner with the writers to ensure that the creative vision is achieved Actively solicit additional information from writers or client team to ensure content/copy is accurate Researches and validates content accuracyYou have:
1-2 years of copyediting experience Content editing experience is a plus Knowledge of grammatical standards/styles Proficiency in MS Office Able to make good judgment calls Able to work in team environment Strong problem-solving skills Able to work with little to no supervision and directionWhat We Offer:
