Responsibilities
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for short-term and supplemental therapy staffing needs within Powerback. This position is also responsible for supporting the Staffing Support Services department. The Staffing Coordinator strives to maximize the use of Powerback's internal casual pool, Journey Travel program and decrease the use of contract therapy professionals from purchase service agencies.
* Provides staffing support of our PRN active pool and Journey Internal Travel program.
* Builds relationships with Powerback's casual (per diem) employees and gathers information about their personal preferences and their availability to work for Powerback (e.g., commuting preferences, building preferences, weekly availability, etc.). Leverages these relationships to schedule Powerback casual employees in short-term assignments whenever possible, thereby minimizing the need for contract therapy professionals. Communicates Powerback initiatives and incentives for casual employees, as appropriate through our text/email system.
* Works with our Managed Service Provider partners to confirm the eligibility of contract candidates to present to the field for interviewing.
* Assists with scheduling ongoing assignments with Journey Travelers.
* Develops solid working relationships with colleagues -- particularly in Operations, Recruiting and Outside agency vendors.
* Manages and assists with compiling weekly, monthly and Year To Date PRN and Purchased Service reports as needed .Oversees report compilation as directed by the business. Reports are compiled weekly, monthly and year to date for both PRN and Purchased Service.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* The Staffing Coordinator must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree. 1-3 years experience preferred in the healthcare or staffing industry.
* Must have strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Posted Salary Range
USD $40.00 - USD $43.00 /Hr.
