Coordinator Sample Fulfillment

Purpose

Responsible for the fulfillment (order picking and shipping) of eCommerce sample orders to customers, the Floor & Decor Express (FDX) special order sample program replenishment to stores, and the Custom Countertop sample program replenishment to stores.

Essential Functions

Key activities and duties are listed below, but additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified according to business needs.

Processing orders for eCommerce sample sales: tasks include order picking, packaging and shipping to customers.Processing orders to replenish the FDX and Custom Countertop sample program: tasks include order picking, creating transfers, packing and shipping to stores, and communicating the order transfer and tracking numbers to the store’s teams.Operates RF scanners/data capture devices so that orders are accurately picked, and inventory is consumed correctly.Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations and company policy are followed.Loads and/or assist in the loading of all outbound samples into delivery vehicles.Must cross-train in the conversion function and support the conversion process when workload or demand requires it as determined by the leadership team.Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse order picking/fulfillment, eCommerce fulfillment, and/or outbound processing roles.Experienced in the use of warehouse scanning and/or data capture technology equipment and systems. (Ex: Mobile Devices, RF scan technology, Warehouse Management Systems)Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced and high volume work environment.Must be self-motivated and operate with a sense of urgency to meet tasks deadlines.Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task.Must be customer service oriented and strive to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions (travel, environment)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.

Able to operate lift equipment, power tools, shrink wrapping equipment, and other tools such as wood/wet saws.The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.Ability to exert 25-50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
