COORDINATOR OF OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

 Responsibility:

Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activitiesServes as the Pilgrim’s Management Method subject matter expert for assigned facilitiesLeads assigned facility’s Management Method efforts by functioning as a business partner with each Method PillarResponsible for proactively working with facility management to identify and assess KPI gaps, and lead projects to closure through the use of Operational Excellence tools and methodologiesDelivers effective Management Method trainingDemonstrates ownership of core tools6SWriting and maintaining Standard Operating ProceduresStatistical Process ControlRoot Cause AnalysisKaizen EventsLeads gap-closure projects and owns project success.Update and analyze key metrics for the assigned complex or business unitLeads self-assessment activities for Management Method.

Education:

Undergraduate Degree, (Prefer engineering, science, or business focus)

Experience:

2 - 5 years manufacturing industry experience (preferably in poultry)At least 1 year in Pilgrim’sBackground in ZBB or production

Special Skills

Good oral and written communication skillsStrong Excel userMiniTab experience preferredStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsGood internal relationship skillsResilient & FlexibleTeaching and coaching skillsHands-on mentalityHigh level of business acumen6 Sigma Green Belt or higher (desired)Lean Methodology including Waste reduction experience
