What you’ll do

We are looking for a Coordinator – Inventory Planning, for our Wacol Trade and Fulfilment Centre!

Reporting to the Trade and Fulfilment Centre Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that safety, quality, and service is managed effectively via management of all inventory and procurement related practices.

Drive performance, ensure accurate purchasing and planning to meet demand, enabling great service to our stores and direct customers alikeManage all planning and purchasing related practices for the siteEnsure a safe work culture is developed and maintained within the site and your teamWork with customer facing team members to understand impact of inventory issues and consistently review demand planning to ensure stock positionBuild relationships with supplier network and escalate supplier issues with the store support buying team.

Who we’re looking for

You will bring previous experience in leadership, the ability to work within a cross functional team.  Your analytical skills will enable you to understand the sites inventory and planning requirements and ensure the team can make data driven decisions regarding stock requirements and purchasing.

You will have a commitment to excellent internal and external customer service. Your strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively, will support to lead and motivate others to achieve their best.

You’ll Need:

Proven experience in a leadership role in a similar or equivalent position within supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory planning or procurementLogistics or Supply Chain background is preferableAbility to analyse data across inventory utilising systems such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBIIntermediate to Advanced Excel skillsAbility to provide reports and insights from data to make data driven decisionsProven ability to mentor and inspire others, along with conflict resolutionDemonstrated ability to work with key suppliers and internal customers to achieve business objectives and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to negotiate and influence internally across function areas and externally to achieve effective outcomes
