Nature & Purpose of Position Performs moderately complex administrative activities for the educator preparation program advanced pathways and supervisory work within the field program. Primary Responsibilities Oversees advanced field placement processes for the Educator Preparation Program (EPP), ensuring alignment with Texas Education Agency (TEA) TAC code certification requirements and institutional policies. Applies policies, procedures, and applications related to educator preparation and field placements, including overseeing data collection and documentation processes of the program. Acts as a liaison and effectively communicate with students, faculty, and district partners. Organizes and coordinate meetings, workshops, and/or orientations pertinent to field placements and educator preparation activities. Collaborates with program coordinators and district personnel to coordinate field placements, ensuring timely and accurate communication of placement details, including district information, calendars, and training materials. Prepares comprehensive records and spreadsheets related to field placements, mentor assignments, and other documentation. Maintain records in collaboration with the Assessment Team. Monitors field placements and review the collection and analysis of evaluations from educators and field supervisors, ensuring compliance with program standards. Works closely with Director of Innovative Partnerships on field supervisor selection, training, and support. Coordinates with the Testing Coordinator. Supports program coordinators, students and staff through field placements, ensuring proper documentation, supervising field supervisor and mentor teacher assignments, and providing updates on graduate employment outcomes. Collaborates with the Office of Assessment and Accountability, EPP faculty, and other EPP-associated faculty and staff to ensure accuracy, support, and adherence to standards.
