If invited for an interview, be prepared to discuss your future plans and those of your household/family members._ **Responsibilities** + Oversees daily operations and coordinates activities related to the medical school admissions process and applicant engagement. + Implements admissions goals and objectives in alignment with institutional priorities and accreditation standards. + Monitors the quality and effectiveness of admissions processes and recommends improvements based on data and best practices. + Advises prospective students, applicants, and community members on admissions policies, procedures, and timelines. + Prepares reports and data summaries on admissions trends, applicant demographics, and program outcomes for leadership and external agencies. + Drafts and edits admissions-related publications, promotional materials, and communications for prospective students. + Supports the full application cycle, including logistics, communications, and coordination with reviewers and interviewers. + Provides administrative support to admissions leadership, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and project tracking. + Supports staff and community members involved in admissions interviews, recruitment events, and applicant programming. + Assists with student success initiatives, including special case management and coordination of support services. + Coordinates office operations such as supply ordering, maintenance requests, and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily functioning. + May assist with budget tracking, payroll processing, and other operational support functions. + Helps plan department activities, manage calendars, and arrange travel for admissions-related events and conferences. + Maintains secure and organized records, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and data privacy standards. + Remains current on admissions policies, medical education trends, and best practices in holistic review and applicant support. + Performs other duties as assigned to support the admissions and student affairs teams. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
