Job Overview:

The Coordinator Clinical coordinates the daily activities of the Physical Therapy Department.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's, Master's or DPT degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Current license from the NJ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift working, 7:30am-4pmFull-Time (FT)

Essential Functions:

Recommend and initiate orders for material, equipment and suppliesPeriodically review service performance and recommend actions or changes to directorMaintain knowledge of current laws and standards of practice as relates to Physical TherapyServe as a resource to other departments for the specialtyWork with department coordinators to ensure efficient patient care and operation of the rehabilitation departmentContribute to hospital and community education within scope of knowledgeAssist the director to train, evaluate and develop employeesSchedule and direct the activities of staff and volunteersPerform the duties of a physical therapist as per Physical Therapist Description
