Shift is for 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday,

Weekends as needed,

Section II: Summary of Job Function

The coordinator is responsible for the coordination and communication of perioperative activities,

The coordinator will manage schedule, flow, smart track, pre op plans for patients,

He/she will work under the supervision of the OR /SDS nurse manager/director facilitating the processes critical to the efficiency of the Perioperative division,

Section III: Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure

College Graduate preferred

Previous experience

Medical terminology knowledge along with surgical procedure background knowledge

Surgical background in handling a schedule / OR board

Must have computer skills/background

Familiar with doing payroll, ordering

Excellent people skills

Work Environment and Hazards

Hazards include risk physical injury from operation of equipment,

Must meet requirements of the ADA
