Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. Versant is looking for a Coordinator, Talent & Engagement to join their team! The Coordinator, Talent & Engagement will report to the VP, Talent & Engagement and will help build the most strategic, well-informed, and engaged workforce in media.   What you’ll do:  + You’ll get to know our internal teams like Corporate Communications, Total Rewards, HR Ops, & Talent Acquisition and work closely with them on Versant Talent Projects and initiatives   + You’ll support the VP, Talent & Engagement on all projects, from employe training to performance management to employee engagement and culture initiatives – shaping the Versant employee experience from the ground up  + You’ll do research on Talent vendors, software, platforms, coaches and potential speakers and thought leaders that we could source for Versant   + You’ll help track the Versant Talent & Training Budget for the VP   + You’ll support with employee survey data analysis, looking for trends and insights    + You’ll be an expert in our branding guidelines and bring creativity to everything you do. Whether it’s editing videos or crafting graphics for external social campaigns – you’ll apply the company’s values and spirit in new and innovative ways.    + You’ll get to chat with our colleagues across the globe to gather their stories about life at VERSANT, collecting images, quotes and compile videos for internal initiatives that tell the story of what its like to be an employee at Versant.     + You’ll learn the in’s and out’s of our Learning management systems, internal communication systems like Slack and SharePoint. But you won’t just be conducting maintenance, you’ll actively pitch recommendations for content updates.    + You’ll get to exercise your impressive organizational skills. You’ll be the keeper of our event tracker, internal deck library, and more.   + You’ll apply your design skills to internal documents for the Talent Organization such as PowerPoint presentations, SharePoint sites and training documents.  + Additional project as assigned – we’re a new team building out a new talent function with a lot of runway to explore!    What you’ll need:  + Minimum 2 years of experience, inclusive of internships working in Recruiting, HR or related experience    + Fluent in Office 365 and Microsoft PowerPoint  + Experience with digital production and post-production tools (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)     + Experience with social media as a marketing tool for a business or entity, creating digital content for various audiences and an understanding of social reporting   Desired Characteristics:  + Excellent attention to detail: You’re skilled at managing your time, juggling multiple projects at once, and you love a to-do list. You’re diligent when it comes to formatting, organizing down to the smallest detail, and meeting your deadlines.    + Stellar communication skills: you have professional savvy in communicating at all levels including exceptional follow-through.   + Comfortable operating in the gray: You’ve had previous experience in processing and administrative tasks and are accustomed to problem-solving and setting out to find solutions to the unknown.    + Agility and Adaptability: You possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of stakeholders in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.  + Collaboration: You find fun in the challenge and working together.
