Job Description
Position Summary
The Coordinator, Resident Retention & Renewals plays a key role in supporting the lease renewal process at Brookfield Properties Multifamily. This position is responsible for engaging directly with residents, coordinating timely and accurate renewal offers, and ensuring seamless lease execution. By delivering consistent communication and administrative precision, the Coordinator helps enhance the resident experience while supporting revenue goals and aligning with Shared Services operations.
Essential Job Function
1. Resident Engagement (25%)
• Manages day-to-day resident interactions around renewal offers using CRM and PMS.• Escalates renewal negotiations or concession requests to the Renewal Specialist as needed.
2. Offer Coordination & Incentive Application (10%)
• Coordinates pricing negotiations, move-in specials, and the application of BILT rewards or other incentives.• Works closely with Revenue Management to support flexible month-to-month offers.
3. Lease Documentation & Execution (35%)
• Ensures timely lease generation and back-end lease execution, including document preparation and final countersignatures.• Supports administrative tasks and Yardi updates throughout the renewal lifecycle.
4. NTV Processing & Move-Out Scheduling (20%)
• Processes notices to vacate and assists with move-out scheduling and coordination, including communication with Virtual Assistants if needed.
5. Collaboration & Reporting (10%)• Collaborates with internal partners and Shared Services team members to monitor key metrics and optimize the resident retention process.
Education
Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Business, Property Management, or related field required
Work Experience
3-4 Years of Specific Experience in Multifamily Real Estate
1-2 Years of Specific Experience in Property Management; Contract or Lease Renewal Negotiations Conversations
Please note: 5-7 Years of relative work experience could offset the minimum educational requirements
