Summary\r

Working alongside the Real Estate Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining lease records, participating in negotiations and meetings, coordinating with partners, managing rent payments, and supporting the Leasing team on nationwide portfolio with a focus on the Toronto market.

Key Responsibilities\r

Business Development:

Initiate follow-up calls with potential partners regarding opportunities that would align with the Astral Media PortfolioCompile and analyze market data to assess the feasibility of potential sites. Prepare reports summarizing key findings and recommendations.  Analyzes opportunities by building business casesProvide broad support to the business development team

 

Leasing:

Review and prepare contracts for execution to secure new or existing inventoryGenerate proposals using standardized templates, coordinating with other departments as neededSupport our partners as needed to research and resolve payment disputes, complaints, or other Lease related topicsContact partners regarding maintenance and repair issues, planned or otherwise, related to sites and monitor the progressManage and track monthly rents, post payments, and contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, leasing plans, and quarterly reportingParticipate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned

 

Systems:

Responsible for end-to-end usage of systems on all new agreements, renewals, amendments or as otherwise required (Quattro, SAP)Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of new productsMaintain accurate and up-to-date site inventory records, proactively managing data updates to ensure information reflects the most recent statusWork closely with the Capital Asset & Lease Accounting team (CALA) on ensuring the conformity and accuracy of our data in SAP (vendor, term, and conditions)Critical Qualifications\rHigh school level or higherMinimum 2 years of relevant experience (Project Management, Business Development, contract administration.OOH Advertising and Toronto Municipal By-law knowledge an assetEffective communication skills.Ability to multi-task with multiple deadlinesInitiative, pro-activity and strong ability to build business connectionsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Proficiency with lease database tools an asset IFRS 16, SAP

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
