The Production Finance Coordinator is our most junior show-facing Studio role. It will be instrumental in supporting the Production Finance team in new and returning show set up, system credential management, and other show-facing Production Finance needs.
We have multiple roles open, supporting Film and Post Finance.
Responsibilities
General show / Supplier set up
Track and process various invoices and production funding requests
Update Studio Paid Cost trackers
Maintaining accountant access across internal and external systems
Maintain production accounting staff information in the central database
Coordinating proof of insurance for vendors
Positive pay review for fraud protection
Map custom COA's to Netflix COA (chart of accounts)
Track cost report submissions and follow up for overdue reports
Add entries to Anticipated Receipts Tracker as needed
Contribute ideas for development of systems & tools
Scheduling internal and external meetings as needed
Update various Production Finance & Cash Flow tools
Additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
1-2 years of work experience
Strong interest in building a career in production finance
Experience in a freelance production or production accounting role or in a role with the Production or Production Finance team at a major Studio is a plus, but not required
Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be solutions-oriented
Thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
Exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
A degree from a four-year college is preferred
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.
